COROB One Year Later: Celebrating a Year of Robotics and AI Innovation in Warsaw

Warsaw, September 2024

The COROB project as partners from across Europe gathered in Warsaw to celebrate one year since its launch. The General Assembly served as both a reflection on a transformative first year and a springboard for the ambitious work ahead in advancing Robotics and AI across the European ecosystem.

About COROB

Launched in 2024, COROB (Collaborative Robotics for Agile Production) is an EU-funded Horizon Europe project with the goal of transforming industrial automation. COROB is developing intelligent, human-centric robotics systems designed to enhance flexibility, safety, and collaboration—particularly in manufacturing and production environments.

Insights from Warsaw

At the Warsaw meeting, COROB partners shared key learnings, reviewed technological advancements, and set strategic goals for the future. Among the highlights were innovations in robotic perception, motion planning, and human-robot collaboration protocols. These advancements are laying the foundation for safer, smarter, and more efficient production systems.

“We are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in just 12 months,” said one of the project coordinators. “COROB is a testament to what can be accomplished when top minds across Europe unite to push the boundaries of Robotics and AI.”

As the project enters its second year, momentum continues to build. COROB is on track to deliver state-of-the-art robotic systems that not only increase productivity but also align with the EU’s vision for sustainable, human-centered industrial innovation.
