What is the solution?
IntelliPass is a blockchain-based Digital Product Passport platform that revolutionizes manufacturing data management by combining Asset Administration Shell (AAS) standards with advanced cryptographic technologies. The platform enables secure, transparent, and privacy-preserving sharing of product lifecycle information across manufacturing supply chains. IntelliPass leverages Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to enable data verification without revealing sensitive information, while Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) ensures fine-grained authorization aligned with complex supply chain requirements.
What makes it novel:
IntelliPass uniquely integrates privacy-preserving cryptography (Zero-Knowledge Proofs, Fully Homomorphic Encryption) with industrial digital twin standards (IDTA AAS), addressing the fundamental tension between manufacturing data transparency and confidentiality protection. The platform’s Attribute-Based Access Control implementation addresses critical gaps in current AAS implementations, which are limited to basic role-based access and not aligned with IDTA security standards.
What motivated you to apply for the COROB Open Call?
The COROB Open Call presented a unique opportunity to develop IntelliPass within a strong consortium combining cutting-edge robotics expertise with real-world manufacturing challenges. The significant funding and structured mentoring program allowed us to validate our novel Digital Product Passport solution—integrating privacy-preserving cryptography with Asset Administration Shell standards—in authentic production environments, ensuring IntelliPass addresses genuine industry needs while advancing our platform’s maturity.
How do you envision your project making an impact?
IntelliPass addresses a critical manufacturing challenge: enabling transparent product lifecycle tracking while protecting sensitive intellectual property. By combining blockchain with Zero-Knowledge Proofs and Fully Homomorphic Encryption, manufacturers can share verifiable product information across supply chains without exposing proprietary details—essential for regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting. Our IDTA AAS standards-based approach ensures interoperability and positions manufacturers for emerging EU Digital Product Passport regulations.
In the coming months, we’re expanding platform capabilities through advanced analytics extensions—enabling predictive maintenance, process optimization, and AI-powered quality prediction—while advancing the Technology Readiness Level through extended operational validation, transforming IntelliPass into a comprehensive decision-support ecosystem.
