SUMMARY:MSV International Industrial Fair 2025 - The most important industrial fair in Central Europe
DESCRIPTION:The MSV International Industrial Fair is the most important industrial fair in Central Europe. The majority of visitors are professionals. Nearly 80% of those in attendance exert influence on business investment\, and one third form part of the top management of their firms. All key fields of machinery and electrical engineering industry are represented\, with primary focus on machining and forming. \nMSV’s spotlight is Industry 4.0 and Digital Factory\, i.e. digitisation in production\, one of the key trends of the innovation process. Other highlighted topics include the circular economy – management of material resources. This is a current trend which is a high-priority area of sustainable development as industry and trade adaptation will move forward in that direction. One unique component of the fair is an accompanying programme that includes specialist conferences\, as well as seminars and workshops on current technical\, commercial and economic issues.

SUMMARY:COROB Platform Workshop
DESCRIPTION:About the COROB Platform \nThe COROB platform is a digital solution that bridges the gap between shopfloor and data-driven services. It enables the digitisation of companies\, enabling them to manage data in an interoperable\, scalable\, and vendor-independent way.   \nThe platform connects devices at the edge by supporting standard industrial protocols and integrates them into a semantic layer using the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). This creates a digital representation (digital twin) of each asset\, ensuring that information is accessible in an interoperable way\, independent of the underlying technology.  \nThe workshop \nThis workshop aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the platform’s IoT and interoperability capabilities\, its architecture\, and its potential to support scalable\, secure\, and vendor-independent industrial solutions.   \nThe workshop will combine conceptual explanation\, practical demonstrations\, and space for questions and interaction.  \nWorkshop Format & Duration \n\n14:00-16:00 CET | 90 minutes (1h30)\nVirtual  \nIncludes demos\, Q&A\, and interactive participation \n\nAgenda \nWelcome & Introduction to COROB  by COROB Project Coordinator\, Iñaki Sainz\, LORTEK  \nCOROB Platform Overview – Evangelos Xanthakis\, Netcompany  \nInteractive pause for clarifying questions  \nLive Demo: COROB Platform in Action   \nQ&A and Closing  \nRegister here

SUMMARY:Exploring Early-Adopter Opportunities with COROB Multi-Robot Cells: Online Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an online workshop where we will present how cooperative multi-robot systems\, AI\, monitoring\, inspection\, and advanced control technologies can transform arc welding-based manufacturing processes. \nThe COROB project is developing flexible\, cooperative\, and intelligent multi-robotic solutions for arc welding-based manufacturing processes\, including joining and additive manufacturing. \nThis online workshop will introduce COROB’s technological approach and present its two main use cases: multi-robot cooperative welding and tooling repair using Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing. Participants will learn how COROB combines cooperative robotics\, inspection\, monitoring\, control\, and AI techniques to support more efficient\, flexible\, and resource-conscious industrial processes. \nThe workshop will also create an opportunity for potential external end users and early adopters to explore how their industrial needs and application scenarios could contribute to the validation of COROB’s multi-robot cells in real manufacturing contexts. \nInterested organisations will be invited to share potential demonstration scenarios following the workshop. Selected scenarios may then be considered for implementation in the COROB multi-robot cells\, supporting the quantitative validation of the project’s value propositions in real industrial environments. \nThis session is particularly relevant for manufacturers\, industrial end users\, technology providers\, and innovation stakeholders active in welding\, tooling\, repair\, additive manufacturing\, robotics\, and flexible production. \nWhat will be presented?\nThe workshop will introduce two key COROB use cases: \nMulti-robot cooperative welding\nThis use case focuses on jigless robotic welding\, where multiple robots work together without traditional tools or fixtures. Two manipulator robots hold and position the workpieces\, while a third robot performs the welding process. This approach enables more flexible and efficient manufacturing. \nMulti-robot cell for tooling repair using WAAM\nThis use case explores the use of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing for tooling repair. A main robot equipped with a WAAM welding head\, combined with a rotary table\, will repair complex geometries. An auxiliary robot conducts supporting tasks such digital identification of defects and 3D scanning \nWhy attend?\nThis workshop is an opportunity to discover how COROB is developing cooperative multi-robot technologies to support smarter\, more flexible\, and more resource-efficient manufacturing. \nParticipants will gain insight into COROB’s technological approach\, its two main industrial use cases\, and the potential of multi-robot cells for real manufacturing scenarios. The session will also offer external end users\, early adopters\, industrial partners\, technology providers\, and innovation stakeholders the chance to explore how their own needs and application scenarios could contribute to the validation of COROB solutions. \nJoin us to learn how COROB is advancing the next generation of robotic welding and additive manufacturing\, and how industry can play a role in shaping and validating these technologies in real-world contexts. \nRegister here \nAgenda\n\n\n\nTime\nSession\nDescription\n\n\n10:00–10:05\nWelcome & Opening Remarks\nIntroduction to the workshop\, objectives\, and structure of the session. \n \n\n\n10:05–10:20\nIntroduction to COROB\nOverview of the COROB project\, its vision\, core technologies\, and ambition to develop flexible\, cooperative\, and intelligent multi-robotic solutions for arc welding-based manufacturing. \n \n\n\n10:20–10:30\nUse Case 1: Multi-Robot Cooperative Welding\nPresentation of the jigless robotic welding approach\, where multiple robots cooperate to hold\, position\, and weld workpieces without traditional tools or fixtures. \n \n\n\n10:30–10:37\nExploring Early-Adopter Scenarios: Cooperative Welding\nDiscussion on the types of industrial challenges\, parts\, processes\, or production needs that could be relevant for validating cooperative welding in COROB’s multi-robot cells. \n \n\n\n10:37–10:47\nUse Case 2: Multi-Robot Cell for Tooling Repair using WAAM\nPresentation of the WAAM-based tooling repair use case\, including the main processing robot\, rotary table\, auxiliary robot\, and integration of technologies such as 3D scanning and process planning. \n \n\n\n10:47–10:54\nExploring Early-Adopter Scenarios: WAAM Tooling Repair \n \nDiscussion on potential industrial scenarios for tooling repair\, complex geometries\, inspection\, finishing\, or related processes that could support the validation of the COROB solution. \n \n\n\n10:54–11:00\nQ&A and Wrap-Up\nOpen discussion with participants\, key takeaways\, and next steps for stakeholders interested in COROB.
